Are You Up To Date In The Latest Blogging Techniques?

If you are a blogger, then you may already know that there are some things that you have to do in order to attract readers to your page. The more readers that you have, the more likely it will be that you can make a profit from your webpage. Blogging techniques have been changing now for a while so it is important to stay up to date with them. There are new tools which are available to those looking to get more readers. The following are some of the most popular techniques that you can use to achieve success when compared to other bloggers.

Be An Expert

In order to get more readers to your blog, people need to see you as an expert whose opinion is very important. This is done by writing articles not only for your blog, but also for others. Guest blogging is one of those techniques which you can use to get your name out there. Every time that you add a blog to somebody else’s website, you can include a link to yours and if the article or blog post is interesting to them, then people will probably want to know more about you and what you have to say.

Opinions Matter

Blogging does not have to be about opinions; you could be reporting on something that you have found or just telling people about a certain trip. However, what makes a blogger different is that people can rely on what they have to say. You should not shy away from giving your opinion when you are writing a blog because people who visit your blog want information and to know what you think about a subject. This type of writing can be used when writing for another blog or when working on your own.

How To Create An Excellent Article Marketing Campaign

When you are looking to increase your visibility online, one of the strategies that you can use is an article marketing campaign. This type of campaign will let you promote your website by being an expert on a topic that your website covers. For example, if your website is about cat breeds, it is a good idea to talk about cats and breeds in all of the articles. In order for the campaign to work, you have to do a few things. First, look into the places where you will be posting the articles like online magazines and guest blogging websites.

How Much To Write

One of the bigger questions that people have when they are getting ready to start an article marketing campaign is how much they should be writing in the first place. It all depends on you but a good place to start is to start anywhere between four and five articles a day and place them in either an online magazine or guest blogger websites. By doing so, you will have cornered the market of the style of articles that you are writing so that every time that somebody looks for that topic; your articles will be the first ones to come up.

What To Expect

When you start an article marketing campaign you will eventually get results but you should not expect them from one day to the next. The campaign could take a couple of months before you start seeing real results and at that point if you are writing 5 articles a day, you would have 300 different ones directing traffic to your website. Keep in mind that articles are content which others will use but in order to use it, they have to include your website as the source and that is how you get the traffic.

Blogging, Microblogging And Reblogging – Three Marketing Techniques For The Future

Have your say - 1 CommentDecember 19, 2012

Blogging came about within the business world a while ago now, but any Internet marketer will tell you that it is going to remain an efficient marketing tool in the future as well. However, blogging is no longer alone; it has two smaller siblings, microblogging and reblogging, and these can increase the efficiency of your blogging efforts tremendously.

Blogging about a product or a service is now a common marketing strategy for online businesses. Either you can write about what you are selling or ask others to do it for you. As many Internet users prefer to browse through their favourite blogs in order to find new information, chances are that your product will be exposed to a targeted audience and that you will help you bring in the sales.

However, everything in the virtual world has a tendency to happen very fast, and people are not always in the mood to spend their precious time online reading long blog posts. Some bloggers are already aware of the new trends and they are creating smaller blog posts, to make sure that they are getting their information across in short, sharp bites rather than full-blown articles.

So came the idea of microblogging, which is best illustrated by Tumblr, the platform that brings all that’s good about Facebook, Twitter and blogging in a single package. Here, users can ‘heart’ certain posts, repost them and comment on them. By increasing your presence on this channel, you will be able to increase your business exposure as well.

Reblogging is just a natural consequence of all of the above. By allowing people to reblog your content, you are basically enabling them to act as spokespersons for your business. Keep in mind that people share and reblog only what they like, so make an impact through the content you produce, keep posts short and keep the ideas fresh.

Don’t Bury Your Article Marketing Campaign Just Yet

You would have to be blind or simply not paying attention, not to have heard the hype over article marketing and how it has died. Google’s changes to their algorithms caused may sites that lived and breathed articles to rethink their marketing strategy. Many content farms have fallen to the wayside, and others have had to regroup and rework their websites. However, this does not mean you should stop article marketing.

Instead of burying your article marketing strategy, you need to revamp it and make it successful according to Google’s terms. Today, instead of stuffing articles with keywords in an effort to get ranked, you have to be aware of your content and quality.

Articles that were placed on websites simply to drive traffic to other websites generally had some common characteristics, they were short, written by freelance agents who were normally not experts on the topic, and they keywords were used unnaturally or out of syntax simply to ensure keyword density was met.

Today, those articles will not meet the criteria for ranking, and you will be wasting your time to use them. Instead, you need articles that are relevant, unique and written using proper grammar. Your articles have to be good in the eyes of Google.

Next, you have to understand that article directories were never meant to be used as a holding site for back links. These directories were originally intended to be common ground for sharing information; a place where articles could be categorized and easy to find. Instead of this, they became cesspools of poorly written, keyword stuffed pages, in many cases not even worth calling articles.

You are probably now wondering how you can use articles effectively. First, only use articles that are well-written, relevant and grammatically correct and only post them on one websites. However, submit them to other types of sites. You can use them as blogs, editorials or even white papers. These are legitimate sites where information is shared.

This method of writing and submitting articles is not new; it is what articles were intended to be. When you post articles as guest posts on other blogs, you have a two-fold advantage. First, you are being linked to a reputable site, if you choose carefully, and second, you will almost certainly get traffic from other blog readers.

In order for this to work, you have to post your guest blog on a high ranking site. Check the page ranking of the site and also ask the site owner if you can be a guest blogger. Do not just assume your blog will be posted. If you are unsure where you can post your article to get the most traffic, do a search for ‘guest blogger’ or similar terms.

Searching for the best place to submit your articles may take time; however, it makes more sense, and in the long run dollars, to submit it where it will receive the most exposure.

Article marketing has not died; it has simply been forced into a facelift. If you have had success with your article marketing campaign, share your ideas with us using the comment box. We all want the same thing, a successful marketing campaign.
