More Useful Online Marketing Tools
Hopefully by now you’ve had a chance to check out and explore Keyword Discovery, Google Rankings, and Link Vendor. I truly believe them to be valuable online marketing tools that you should all use. Throughout the course of my online career, I’ve stumbled across my fair share of marketing tools, so I thought that I’d share a few more with you today.
WordTracker
WordTracker is actually a paid keyword tracking tool, but they have a free version which will give you up to 100 results for each keyword you enter. You can also test the full version for 14 days for an insignificant price, but after that you must either purchase the monthly subscription for £29 or the annual subscription for £165. If you sign up and decide you don’t like WordTracker, they do have a 30 day money back guarantee, which is nice. I have been burnt by many programs that made promises they couldn’t live up to, though I doubt you’ll be disappointed by WordTracker. Link Diary
Link Diary is an excellent tool for building up your incoming and outgoing link popularity. There is no cost to use the service. All you have to do is sign up, add your site to the directory, and search for sites you’d like to link back to. The system automatically tracks what sites have linked to you. If a webmaster places a link to your site on his, you will automatically receive an email from Link Diary letting you know that someone has linked to your site. You can then place a reciprocal link on your own website and use Link Diary to track all of the websites that are linking back to yours. I found this to be an incredible SEO tool, especially when I was first starting out.
Pinging Services
Pinging a server means you are letting them know that something new has been posted on your website or blog. A ping service allows you to send a notification to multiple servers at the same time. This helps your new page get indexed faster. Use it daily, but only as often as you post something new on your website or blog. Ping services don’t like to be spammed. Some of the best are Pingomatic, Feedshark, and PingOat.
Each of these tools is designed to help you to easily market your website or blog. These services, particularly, will do a lot to drive fresh, targeted traffic to your site. These marketing tools are easy to use and won’t leave you wondering what you got yourself into when you launched your website. I have a feeling you’ll appreciate them as much as I do!
Happy Marketing!
