You’ve Got To Believe In Your Product
Passion is one of the most important traits you can ever have.
You can know all there is to know about your products and services, you can have the gift of the gab and all that goes with it but if you don’t truly believe in what you sell then your prospects can smell it a mile away.
I believe that all prospects have a “belief antenna” that works at a subconscious level. And while you may look great and have a great pitch there’s something in your prospect’s mind that is not convinced about you.
It’s an invisible force.
My advice?
If you don’t believe in what you sell then get out. I really mean it.
Now I bet that you’re thinking “But of course I believe in what I sell?” Well, let me put your belief to the test. Imagine that your parents were in the market for what you sell (or if you’re selling machinery or something that they would never be in the market for then just imagine they were in the market for it). Now, could you honestly sell what you sell to your mum and dad AT NO DISCOUNT, overcoming their objections 2 or 3 times and go home happy that they had a great deal?
Really be honest with yourself. If the answer is yes, then you believe in what you sell.
You spend far too much time at work so make sure you sell a product that you believe in!
Happy Selling
